4月24日至26日，第十八届“外研社·京东杯”全国大学生英语辩论赛华南赛区复赛在桂林电子科技大学举行🙅🏼‍♂️。九游会平台2012级英语专业耿旸旸同学带队荣获华南赛区一等奖，并以其突出表现🚁，在一百多名选手中脱颖而出，获得“最佳辩手”称号🌻，成功晋级5月底在北京举行的全国总决赛🪥。

此次华南赛区复赛云集来自广东🧑🏻‍🔬🚶‍➡️、广西🕢😝、江西👩‍💼😺、福建、浙江🐦‍🔥、海南、贵州61所高校的128名辩论高手🧝🏻‍♂️，经过五轮激烈角逐😓，包括我校在内的18所高校进军总决赛。“外研社·京东杯”全国大学生英语辩论赛由团中央学校部👨‍👧‍👧、全国学联秘书处🍋‍🟩、北京外国语大学主办，旨在增强我国大学生的英语应用以及创新等方面的能力，是目前国内规模最大💆🏿‍♂️、水平最高的英语口语赛事。

Geng Yangyang, junior student of English major in our Shool of Foreign Languages won the First Prize and was awared “The Best Speaker” by her outstanding performance in the 18th ‘FLTRP·JD.COM CUP’ National English Debating Competition (South China regional tournament) which was held in Guilin University of Electronic Technology from April 24th to 26th. On behalf of our university, she will take the Final-round Competition in Beijing next month.

One hundred and twenty-eight debaters from sixty-one universities in South China took part in this competition. After five rounds of heated debate, only eighteen universities enter the final.

Jointly held by the University Department of Central Committee of Communist Youth League, ACSF secretariat and Beijing Foreign Studies University, the FLTRP National English Debating Competition aims to improve students’ ability of English application and innovation.
