4月22日上午，第16届“外研社·亚马逊杯”全国大学生英语辩论赛北京J9九游会平台娱乐代理官方网站珠海分校校内选拨赛在乐育楼C102正式拉开帷幕。本次赛事由校团委主办🧙‍♀️🚣🏻，九游会平台承办。担任本次比赛的评委有九游会平台副院长兼院党总支书记谢庆立老师，副院长谢文婷老师，党总支副书记张敏丽老师🧉，英语系副主任吴文霞老师和校英语辩论社主席丁豪先生🧝‍♂️。

本次赛事共有来自校内的9个小组参加，每组两个选手。比赛分为两个环节。在第一轮比赛中，每组参赛者围绕“大学生是否应该从商”这一话题开始陈述观点🤹🏿‍♀️👩🏿‍🏭。参赛者面对老师的提问时，展现了敏锐的思维和出色的语言表达能力。经过第一轮的对决🙅🏼‍♀️，4组优秀的队伍成功晋级😔。

第二轮比赛为正式的英语辩论赛，比赛采取西方辩论的模式👨🏼。参赛选手们通过抽签的方式决定正方、反方，双方的4名辩手分别就“整容”这一社会热点问题进行了轮流发言。过程中双方辩手围绕辩题你来我往🦶👴🏽，用流利的英文阐释各自的观点🚵🏼，展开了激烈的辩论，内容精彩纷呈🚵🏽‍♀️。

经过激烈角逐👴，比赛结果如下：

在张敏丽老师对选手的表现做了精彩点评后，本次比赛圆满落下帷幕✍️。赛后，选手们纷纷和评委们交流想法，并收获了很多宝贵意见。

SFL Holds English Debating Competition

The campus competition of the 16th “FLTRP Amazon Cup” National English Debating was held in LeyuC109 on April 22. The competition was organized by the School of Foreign Languages.

The judges of the competition were Mr. Xie Qingli, Ms. Xie Wenting, Ms. Zhang Minli, Ms. Wu Wenxia, and Mr. Ding Hao.

Nine teams--- two students in each--- from different faculties of BNUZ took part in this competition. There were two rounds. The first round was a speaking contest and the second was a debating contest.

In the first round, each participant gave a speech on the topic of "Should university students go into business". Most of them expressed their viewpoints quite well and made a good performance when they were answering the judges’ questions. Four teams finally stood out and entered the next round.

In the second round, participants debated on the topic of plastic surgery in the form of a western debate. Their fluent English and outstanding performance won a big round of applause.

Finally, Xue Hanting from the School of Foreign Languages and Wang Hui from the School of Law and Government won the First Prize.
